Oily Water Monitoring

Oily Water Monitoring Solution is a comprehensive solution to monitor and inhibit illegal vessel’s oily water discharge. It is a highly effective and reliable tool designed by Transas and PSM specifically to keep ship operators aware of situation onboard.
Oily Water Monitoring Solution is the result of integration of onboard ClearView system by PSM, OWM Inmarsat IsatM2M Terminal and Oily Water Monitoring (OWM) Service by Transas:
- ClearView takes the worry out of accidental / illegal overboard discharge by over-riding existing Oily Water Separation (OWS) plant based upon real-time monitoring of all parameters
- OWM Inmarsat IsatM2M terminal provides communications between shore based OWM service and onboard ClearView as well as controls onboard valve allowing physical oily water discharge
- Oily Water Monitoring Service delivers real-time Critical Alarms to Owners and Operators, provides ship track and onboard logs storing and presentation, plus it forms control allowing oily water discharge only while the ship is in geo areas where that is not prohibited
